Position Description

We are seeking a talented, motivated, and creative senior software
engineer to take the lead on various areas of our platform. This
position offers an excellent opportunity to work in the mobile space
focused on backend development and 3rd party integration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement server side software that will drive mobile,
  web, and third party applications
• Define and implement highly scalable, recoverable, and auditable
  transaction infrastructure.
• Interact with application designers and product managers to enhance
  server capabilities for new product features.
• Lead, collaborate, and take ownership and responsibility for new
  tasks.

Requirements

• Extensive Java backend development experience. (Minimum of 7+
  years).
• Experienced in JAVA, C++, and SQL.
• Experienced in using common Java design patterns.
• Proven industry development experience in building large, scalable,
  and transaction driven infrastructure code.
• Extensive experience with relational database design, development,
  and usage. (MySQL/Hibernate O/R Mapping)
• Experience with Web Services (XFire), Message Queueing, and Struts.
• Experience with performance tuning.
• Experience writing unit tests (JUnit).
• Experience with a full software development cycle from design
  through release.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work as a team lead or independently.
• Self-motivation and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• BA/BS in Computer Science other Engineering/Technical field
